A homemade whipped body butter is just what you need to tackle winter dryness. Enriched with Organic Cocoa butter as well as Organic Shea butter, this recipe is luxurious and exotic.
Unrefined Shea butter is an excellent skin conditioning agent. It wards of dryness and imparts a high dose of Vitamin E to your skin. It also has a brightening effect on your skin, apart from clearing it of any skin irritations.
The Cocoa butter we have used in this recipe is unrefined and certified organic. With its rich content of antioxidants, this butter helps fight free radical damages to the skin. Apart from providing abundant hydration, this butter helps relieve stretch marks, dark patches and dull skin.
Jojoba oil is a powerhouse of vitamins and moisturizing agents, and it helps maintain the suppleness in your skin. Clubbed with the two butters it enhances the anti-aging properties as well as skin brightening properties of your homemade whipped body butter.
You may add any fragrance oil of your choice but in this recipe I have added Soapy Twist’s Almond and Shea fragrance oil. However you may also choose a fragrance oil which is Allergen free or opt for an Essential oil of your choice.
Making your own cosmetic products at home is an accomplishment that leaves you with immense satisfaction. Besides, you are sure of the purity of the ingredients as well as can customize your product to suit your skin type.
