Ingredients
- Refined Shea Butter, 10 Grams
- Lip Balm Base, 5 Gram
- Rosehip Oil, 5 Grams
- Jojoba oil, 5 Grams
- Rose Red Mica, a pinch
- Red Berries Blast Lip Flavor Oil, two drops
- Castor Sugar, 20 grams
- Rose Petal Powder, 5 Grams
Recipe
Time needed: 30 minutes
- Weigh and put in the Shea butter
Firstly, take a clean and sanitised heat safe beaker and put in 10 grams of refined shea butter.
- Add the lip balm base
Secondly, add 5 grams of Lip Balm base to the beaker.
- Add in the oils
Thirdly, add in 5 grams of Jojoba oil and 5 grams of Rosehip oil to the beaker.
- Melt the base
Fourthly, melt all the ingredients together for a burst of 30 seconds in a microwave oven till all the ingredients are fully melted.
- Add in the mica
Thereafter add in a pinch of Rose Red Mica to the base and mix well.
- Add the lip safe flavour oil
Subsiquently add in one to two drops of Red Berries Blast Lip safe flavour oil and mix well.
- Add the Castor Sugar
When the temperature of the mixture has reached 40 degree celsius, finally add in 10 grams of castor sugar and mix in well.
- Add in Rose Petals powder
Eventually, add in 5 grams of Rose petals powder to the mixture and stir well.
- Put in the container
Once the mixture cools down, afterwards put the lip scrub in a clean and sanitised container.
Your DIY Lip Scrub is ready for use!
