Recipe
Time needed: 40 minutes
Open the box of Goat Milk Soap Base, take out the base slowly, to ensure that the box does not get torn, as it will be used as soap mould later.
- Cut the base into small cubes
Firstly, cut the soap base into small rectangular pieces or cubes.
- Melt
Secondly, melt the soap base in a microwave, using a heat safe beaker, for short bursts of 60 seconds (stirring in after each burst, before popping the beaker back into the oven), till the entire soap base melts completely.
You may use a double boiler and melt the soap base completely.
- Get the mould ready
Thirdly, while the soap base is melting, we will fold the inner box, and place it in the outer box to make the mould.
- Add the Essential Oil
Fourthly, once the base is melted, add 15 grams of Citronella Essential oil to the base, and stir well.
- Pour
Fifthly, pour the base into the mould with the help of a spoon, and let it set. You may spray some rubbing alcohol, to remove any bubble formation on the surface.
- Pop it out
Subsequently, once the soap has hardened fully, take it out from the box.
- Cut into rectangular bars
Finally, cut the soap into small rectangular pieces and wrap them in shrink wraps or butter paper pouches, for future use.
Your Mosquito repellant Soap is ready to use.
